எம்பிஏ பட்டதாரியான மாயாவிற்கு , ஒரு மதிப்புமிக்க நிறுவனத்தில் வேலை கிடைக்கிறது. வேலைக்கு சேருவதற்கு சரியாக ஒரு நாள் முன்புஅவளுக்கு வரும் ஒரு கனவு அவளின் வாழ்க்கையையே திசை திருப்பும் ஒரு பேரிடியாக வந்து விழுகிறது. வெகு சாதாரணமான ஒரு பணிப்பெண்ணாக கனவில் தன்னைக் காண்கிறாள் மாயா, அந்த தேசத்து அரசனையே அவளின்பால் இழுத்து வருகிறது விதி. அவளைக் கண்டு விக்கித்துப் போகிறான் மன்னன். அவனை நிலைகுலைய வைத்தது அவளின் அழகல்ல, அவளின் முதுகில் இருந்த ஒரு மர்மமான பிறப்புச் சின்னம் - சூரியனும், அதன் மேல் சாய்ந்திருந்த அரை நிலவு. வெறும் கனவு தானே என்று அதை அலட்சியப்படுத்திவிட்டு தன் புதிய அலுவலகத்திற்கு ஆர்வமும் உற்சாகமுமாய் செல்கிறாள் மாயா. ஆனால் என்ன விந்தை, கனவில் கண்ட அந்த மன்னனை நிஜத்திலும் காண்கிறாள், மன்னனாக அல்ல, அவள் வேலை செய்யப் போகும் கம்பெனியின் CEO வாக. அவளின் கனவுகள் அதோடு முடியவில்லை, மேலும் மேலும் தொடர்க்கின்றன...
இந்தக் கனவுகள் அவளுக்கு எதை உணர்த்த முற்படுகின்றன... உண்மையில் இவை அனைத்தும் கனவுகள் தானா? தொடர்ந்து வரும் இந்த கனவுகளுக்குப் பின்னால் உள்ள அர்த்தத்தையும் நோக்கத்தையும் புரிந்துகொள்ள மாயா தன் தேடலை தொடங்குகிறாள். அந்தப் பயணத்தில் காதல், நட்பு, துரோகம், வலி, என்று பலப் பல உணர்ச்சிகளை எதிர்கொள்கிறாள். இவை அவளின் உணர்வுகள் தானா அல்லது..... தெரிந்து கொள்ள படியுங்கள், மர்மம், காதல், நட்பு நிறைந்த இந்த நாவலை.

in previous posts,I've been expanding my reading horizons lately, and one of
the changes I’ve made is to include more books in regional languages. It had
been a while since I picked one up, but the title and blurb of this book
instantly made me pick it up.
